This vintage bank dates back to the 50's/60's. It's a more politically correct version of the turn of the century bank titled "Darktown Battery" which featured stereotype African American players. This version is the Book of Knowledge bank titled "Hometown Battery". It's got great coloring and is still functioing. A coin is placed in the pitcher's hand. Press the lever and the coin is tossed into the catcher's midsection which acts as the coin recepticle. It's a great looking piece.
