On September 27, 1950, Ezzard Charles did what so many before him couldn’t do: he out-boxed, out-maneuvered, outlasted and won a decision victory over the great Joe Louis, becoming the only man to go the full fifteen rounds with “The Brown Bomber” and win to spoil Joe's return to the ring.
There is a small tear on the perforation of the stub and it does show some wear. A really nice example of this stub from this historic fight.
