The 1942 National Football League Championship game was the NFL's tenth title game. The game was played on December 13, 1942 at Griffith Stadium in Washington, D.C. and the attendance was 36,006.The game pitted the undefeated Western Division champion Chicago Bears (11-0), co-coached by Hunk Anderson and Luke Johnsos after George Halas had entered the U.S. Navy and led by quarterback Sid Luckman versus the Eastern Division champion Washington Redskins (10-1) who were led by coach Ray Flaherty and quarterback Sammy Baugh. The Redskins would win 14-6 to capture the title.
This hard to find NFL program is for the 1942 Championship game played in Washington. The score is lighted written in on the cover, but otherwise it is in excellent plus condition. You will not see this program offered for sale too often.
