WOW! This is one of the feature pieces of this auction. It's a 1955 World Series pennant that pitted the N.Y. Yankees against the Brooklyn Dodgers. As you probablly already know, this would be the only time that the Dodgers would win a World Championship in Brooklyn. This is a full sized pennant measuring about 26" long. The two team's stadiums are pictured on the left hand side. The amazing thing about this example is that the tips are un-cut. This pennant is most often found with a double tip as owners would cut the excess felt at the end of the pennant. this pennant is un-cut. It is bright and clean and except for some light fading along the top border, it is in near mint condition. The original fringe on the left hand border is still fully intact. It would be hard to find a nicer example. Do not miss this opportunity to own this classic pennant.
