ITPC SUMMER EXTRAVAGANZA SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 8/25/2007
This has to be one of the most sought after post-war baseball games in the hobby. It was issued by Kamm Games in 1947 and was endorsed by Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Hugh Casey (who later committed suicide in 1951). It is certainly one of the most interesting games. The ball is pitched through an opening in the center field wall. The opposing player holds a bat through another opening to hit the ball. The box cover shows casey in his Dodgers uniform. There is a water stain in the left hand corner. The playing field folds flat for storage. There is some creasing and light tears, but overall it's in excellent condition. The playing pieces have been reproduced on laminated paper, but will look terrific for display. This is not an easy game to find in any condition.
