This pin was a souvenir of one of the most famous Heavyweight Boxing matches of all-time- the rematch between Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney*. The fight was held on 9/22/27 at Soldier Field in chicago and is known as the "Long Count" fight. The oin measures 1.5" across and is in near mint condition. It has an attchment of a miniature old-time boxing glove. This is not an easy pin to find.

*The Battle Of The Long Count was the boxing rematch between world Heavyweight champion Gene Tunney and former champion Jack Dempsey, held on September 22, 1927, at Soldier Field in Chicago. Just 364 days before, on September 23, 1926, Tunney had beaten Dempsey by a ten round unanimous decision to lift the world Heavyweight title, in Philadelphia.
