In the first year of the N.Y. Mets playing at their newly built Shea Stadium- the Mets hosted the 1964 All-Star Game. This stub is for that game. The stub has the likeness of the Mets mascot- Mr.Met. The stub is in excellent plus condition.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

The game was played on July 7, 1964 at Shea Stadium in New York City, New York, home of the New York Mets of the National League. The game resulted in a 7-4 victory for the NL. It was Johnny Callison who hit a walk-off home run. It was thus far the last MLB All-Star game to end in a walk-off home run.
