This heavy chalk ware plaque pays tribute to the World Championship Baltimore Colts of 1958 & 1959. Led by Hall of Fame quarterback Johnny Unitas, this Colt team is regarded as one of the greatest teams in NFL history. The plaque was designed by famed sports artist Jack Lambert (not the linebacker). It features embossed action scenes of Colt players. the center is engraved with the words "baltimore Colts - World Champions- 1958-1959". It measures about 16" in diameter and has a hook on the back for hanging. It's in near mint condition. It's a beauty!
