This has to be one of the finest collegiate figural mascot items we've ever handled. It's a functional lamp (in working order) featuring a porcelain "Tarheels" mascot on the base. The actual mascot stands about 120" tall with the lamp measuring 18" from base to the top of the shade. The shade is original and has the punched name "Tarheels" across the front. The verso side has 2 feet (not sure why). The shade is a thin cardboard with some discoloration and separation- but still looks great. This is a must-have for any fan of the Tarheels or a college mascot collector.
