This is one of the most popular post-war baseball board games in the hobby. It was created by ex-Major League player Ethan Allen. The game was updated each year with new player cards. Although the box is dated 1957, we are not sure that the cards reflect that year. There were originally suppossed to be 40 current player cards and 20 old-time players. There are two cards missing from the current player deck(38 total), but the old-timer cards are complete. Some of the players include Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Ed Mathews, Early Wynn, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline and other Hall of Famers. the old-time players include such Hall if Famers as Hack Wilson, Johnny Mize, Luke Appling, Jimmy Foxx and Bob Feller.The cards are in excellent plus condition. The game also includes a playing field and score board. The box is in very good condition.
