This doll is one of the rarest in the hobby. It's a Promo doll of the Minnesota Vikings. These Promotional dolls were not sold to the general public- but were given to retailers of the original NFL Square base bobbing heads as "point of sale" merchandising displays. There are probably less than 50 known NFL Promo dolls- but this may be the rarest. It is the first one that has surfaced for sale in the 25 years that we've been in the hobby.
The doll displays beautifully, but does have some condition issues. There is a light hairline on the face. There is also some paint loss on the right side of the helmet that does not interfere with the helmet decal. There is also a deeper crack on the back of the head that cannot be seen when displayed. We are selling it "as is" with the knowledge that some easy restoration will increase the beauty and value of the doll.
