The 1956 World Series pitted cross-town rivals- the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Yankees. The series was a classic highlighted by Don Larsen's Perfect Game in Game 5. This pennant was a souvenir of the series. It measures 28.5" from border to tip. The tassels have been clipped a bit and the tip is somewhat frayed. There is some fading, but even with its flaws- it still displays nicely. This is not an easy pennant to find- in any condition.
