This wire photo is dated September 21, 1956. It shows a young Mickey Mantle with Ted Williams prior to a game at fenway Park in Boston. At that time, mantle trailed Williams in the batting title race- but would eventaully go on to capture the Triple Crown. It measures 7" x 9.5". there is a small tear on the top border, but overall it is in excellent condition.
