This action sports figurine was part of a series issued by the Rugby Knitting Mills company circa late 50's/early 60's. There were 16 different statues in the set which covered a variety of sports many of which were Olympic events. Each is made of a viynl plastic and are finely detailed. They are each about 2" to 2.5" tall. They came in boxes which could be folded into display stands. We are offereing all 16 of the statues in this auction. This one is of a hockey player. The statue is mint- the box shows wear.

We have been dealing with figural sports memorabilia for over 30 years and this is the first time we've seen a complete set - all with their original boxes. These are a must have for any figural sports collection.
