This great looking doll is from a very unusual series- the AFL Earpad series of the miid 60's. It's of the Buffalo Bills. This series only had 8 AFL teams (there is also an NFL Redskins). It features a large sized head and odd helmet that resembles a space helmet. This Bills has bright coloring and fairly strong decals. There is a very faint hairline on the back of the helmet and some paint wear on the back of the base. Neither can be seen when displayed.
