This oddball piece of memorabilia does relate to sports. It's a model kit of the Grumman F9F Panther Navy Fighter Jet that was piloted by baseball great Ted Williams. Williams flew in 37 combat missions in both WWII and the Korean War- many in this jet. The front and back covers picture Williams in the jet. The kit has never been opened and still sealed in its original cellophane. This would make an awesome display.
