This miniature statue was part of a series issued by Dairy Queen / Tasti-Freeze in 1956. There are 18 statues to the set (9 American League players & 9 National League players). Because of the fragility of the bats, the batters in the series typically sell for higher prices if in good condition. This Mantle is a fine example exhibiting bright white coloring and a perfect bat. His name is embossed on the base. It is considered the key statue in the series.
