This bank is the "real deal". There are many reproductions of this bank that have surfaced over the last 20 years, but this one is an original. It shows Robinson from waist up in his Brooklyn Dodgers uniform. It has embiossed lettering across the chest and hat and his facsimile autograph is engraved into the base. The base on the reproductions are a lot higher. The bank has all its original patina from being over 50 years old. The bottom coin plate is not present, but this does not affect its appearance when displayed. This is a must item for any fan of the old Brooklyn Dodgers.
