1956 MICKEY MANTLE "DAIRY QUEEN/TASTI FREEZE" STATUE

This statue is from an amazing series of 18 players issued as a premium by Dairy Queen in 1956. It's of Mickey Mantle and is the key to the series. Mantle is shown bunting as it was early in his career and he was noted not only as a power hitter, but as one of the fastest players in baseball. It stands about 3" tall and has his name embossed in the front. We are offering this series as individual and double statue lots for those who need only a handful to complete the set. It is in near mint condition. Please note that the batters in this series are especially hard to find in nice condition as a good percentage of the bats are broken because of their fragility.
