This stub is for Game 1 of the 1939 World Series* played at Yankee Stadium. The Yanks would sweep the Reds 4-0 to capture the World Championship. The stub is in excellent plus condition.
*In the opener, starters Ruffing and Derringer put on a fine show. In the bottom of the ninth with one out and the score tied 1–1, Keller tripled. The Reds walked Joe DiMaggio, but Bill Dickey ended it with a walkoff single to center.
