This ticket stub is for Game 1 of the 1931 World Series captured by the St. Louis Cardinals 4 games to 3. The Cards would lose the opening game to the Athletics who were led by pictcher Lefty Grove. The ticket shows the typical wear and creasing of an over 80 year old stub. It still displays nicely.
