VINTAGE 1955 BROOKLYN DODGERS WIRE PHOTOS - N.L. CHAMPS CELEBRATIONS

These two original wire photos were were taken of the pre-celebration for the Brooklyn Dodgers for their 1955 N.L. Championship. Of course, the Dodgers would go on to win the World Championship that year for their only title in Brooklyn. Photo 1 shows playes amd manager Walt Alston as they arrive at New York's LaGuardia Airport. In the back can be seen a banner delaring them as N.L. Champs. The second photo shows team realatives and friens waiting for their heroes as they arrive at the airport. Both measure 7" x 9" and are in excellent plus condition. these are hard to find photos from the Dodgers historic year.
