This wire photo shows a montage of action during a famous play in the 1952 World Series. Billy Martin would make a stumbling catch of a pop-up off the bat of Jackie Robinson in the last game of the Series to help preserve a Yankees victory. This is one of the most famous catches in World series history. The second panel (upper right) was cut by the editors, but overall this photo is still in excellent condition. It measures 8" x 10" and is perfect for framing. The original news blurb is still attached to the verso side.
