This doll is from the very first series of AFL bobbing heads- the Baggy Pants series of the early 60's. It's of the New York Titans (now the Jets) and is one of the rarest dolls in the hobby. It has nice bright coloring and strong base decal. There's a long hairline on the very back of the helmet that does not impact its appearance when displayed. there is minimal roughness under the rim.
