This absolutely amazing porcelain bank is attributed to the works of the Gibbs-Conner Company. It celebrates the Brooklyn Dodgers 1955 season as National League Champions. They would go on to win the World Series that year- the only World Title in Brooklyn. It shows their mascot bum with ball and glove. A larger baseball acts as the coin recepticle. On the ball is '1955 and the Brooklyn 'B". The base reads N.L. Champions. It stands about 7" tall and except for some crazing between the feet, is in near mint condition. This is a toughie to find.
