Rittgers Knock-Offs Baseball Set made in Japan. Because the Rittgers figures were so popular in the 40's and 50's many different makers tried to cash in on their popularity. This series of African Native figures most closely copied the Rittgers poses. They are a little smaller than the Rittgers figures that they copied. They measure as follows - Batter 5 1/2" small chip on toe, Pitcher 5 1/4" and Umpire 4 1/4".
