Here's another hard to find doll from baseball's Black Face series of the early 60's. It's of the Milwaukee Braves. It is generally agreed that when the franchise left for Atlanta, the team took these dolls to be sold there and altered them by painting black over the Milwaukee decal on the base. The "M" was also blotted out off the cap. This doll has a couple of cracks in the back of the head and one on his chin. The rim of the head has the usual roughness associated with this series. There is also some paint loss on one sleeve. It's still a "toughie" to find in any condition.
