60's LOS ANGELES ANGELS "BLACK FACE" BOBBING HEAD

This doll is from the hard to find and much sought after Black Face series issued in the early 60's. It's of the Los Angeles Angels and features the "happy face" head variation. The uniform is a touch off-white, but the doll has strong decals. There is a scrape of paint loss on the side brim of the hat and the usual roughness under the rim of the head. There are a couple of light cracks on the side of the base and some very minor paint loss on the bottom rim of the base. It still presents nicely. this is not an easy doll to find.
