Here's a super rare dinner program held on October 17, 1929 to honor the World Champion Philadelphia Athletics. It was held at the Penn Athletic Club and their were many dignataries there including the Mayor of Philadelphia, members of the Chambers of Commerce, sports writers and American League officials. The entire A's team was present and guest speakers included Connie Mack and team captain- Eddie Collins. The program lists the team members, the menu and the order of events. The program itself is in wonderful near mint condition. The outside velum covering has some tearing, but this does not affect its appearance greatly. An incredible piece of baseball history.
