40's BOXING TROPHY / ASHTRAY

Here's a great looking figural boxing peice. It's an ashtray featuring a boxer in the center. It was made by the Pearson Trophies company of Philadelphia. It's about 8" tall and the ahstray is almost 8" in diameter. It appears to be all brass. There is the engraved words "From Mary to Louis - Aug. 11, 1943" on the rim of the tray. There is some usage wear, but overall it is in excellent condition.
