1920'S Babe Ruth Underwear Box (Box Only). Babe Ruth's popularity extended far beyond the baseball diamond. The "Bambino" starred in movies, rubbed elbows with all the celebrities of his era, and lent his name to everything from wristwatches to candy bars. However, let us not forget Babe Ruth brand underwear! Fortunately, this box, which once housed the Babe's favorite brand of undergarments, survives as a reminder. The original box features a colorful portrait of Ruth on the cover, which makes this box ideal for display, as well as a source of amusement for serious collectors and non-collectors alike. 3 of the 4 corners are spilt and can be easily repaired.I believe the tissue paper might be the original that came with the box. The box measures approx. 12 .75" x 9.5" with some wear and grades in vg condition.
