This hard to find Black Face baseball doll is of the now defunct Milwaukee Braves. When the Braves moved from Milwaukee to Atlanta in the mid 60's, the excess dolls from this Black Face series had the "M" painted over on the hat and the base was painted black to cover the "Milwaukee" decal. It is extremely rare to find this doll with its original decals still visible. This doll does exhibit usage. There is a crack on his chin and two larger ones on the back of the head. There is also some paint loss on one sleeve. It's still a nice display doll.
