This is for a mascot bank that was a give-away of the Anacosta Federal Savings & Loan Association located in Washington D.C. An ad in a 1952 Washington Redskins home program advertises this bank as a Redskin Bank that was free if you opened an account at their bank. It is made of copper and is almost 5" tall. There is a small crack on the headdress but otherwise it is in excellent condition. The lot comes with a copy of page 20 in the Redskins program that advertises the give-away.
