Many advanced bobbing head collectors do not know of the existence of this doll - and until a few years ago- neither did we. This is a super rare variation of the Mickey Mantle Round base bobbing head. The difference between this one and the one most often seen is the body type. The more common Mantle Round base features his left arm jutting out to the side and a big puffed out chest. This doll has his hands at his sides. We have had only one other in over 25 years in the hobby.

The doll is bright and clean. There are no chips or cracks and the base decal is strong. There is some crazing of the paint on the side of the base. It is otherwise in excellent plus condition.
