This doll is from the NBA Lil Dribbler series of the late 60's. Although it is technically not a bobbing head- most collectors put them in that category. The head does not move, but the ball bounces up and down. This is the Black Face version of the Baltimore Bullets and it is quite rare. Even rare is to find it in pristine condition- still sealed in its original cellophane - with its original box. It would be very hard to find a nicer example.
