Wow- if you're a fan of basketball and in particular the old ABA (American Basketball Association), then you'll really appreciate this rare advertising poster for the Minnesota Muskies*. The ABA first started during the 1967-68 season and this poster gives the schedule of the Minnesota Muskies. The team would last only one year before moving to Miami. The poster measures 14" x 21.5" and is on a cardboard stock. It is beautifully colored and except for some minor corner & edge wear it is in excellent plus condition. All early ABA memorabilia is considered rare and this piece is a realy beauty!

*The Minnesota Muskies were a charter member of the American Basketball Association, born with the league's creation on February 2, 1967. L.P. Shields and Fred Jefferson bought in to create the franchise for $30,000. They played one season in Minnesota and then moved to become The Floridians.

Minnesota was not left without an ABA team, however, as the league champion Pittsburgh Pipers relocated to Minneapolis as the Minnesota Pipers for the 1968-1969 ABA season.
