1962 HOUSTON COLT 45's "SALADA TEA" SHIELD w/PLAYER COINS

This light plastic shield was issued by Salada Tea to be used to house their incredibel series of player coins. This one is of the Houston Colts and features 10 players coins from their first year- 1962. The coins include Don Taussig, Al Heist, Al Spangler, Don Buddin, Bob Lillis, Joe Amalfitano, Norm Larker, Hal Smith Bobby Shantz and Dick Ferrell. Some of the coins show wear, but overall they are in excellent condition. The shield has no chips or cracks and is in excellent plus condition. A gorgeous display piece.
