This lot consists of two figural banks that were give-aways of the Anacosta Federal Savings & Loan Association located in Washington D.C. An ad in a 1952 Washington Redskins home program advertises the male version of the bank as the Redskin Bank that was free if you opened an account at their bank. They are eack made of copper and are almost 5" tall. The Chief has some oxidation on the face. The "Annie" Costa bank is in excellent plus condition. The lot comes with a copy of page 20 in the Redskins program that advertises the give-away.
