This pennant would have been sold at Ebbets Field during the 1949 World Series that pitted the Brooklyn Dodgers against their arch-rival N.Y. Yankees. It declares them as National League Champions. It also lists the team members on the left hand side. On that team are some of the greatest players of all-time including Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Roy Campanella and Pee-Wee Reese. The pennant measures 28" long. The paint is fairly strong, but the felt is discolored at the tip. The tip has frayed somewhat, but the pennant still displays nicely.
