50's CHICAGO BEARS "CARTER-HOFFMAN" STATUE- 1st KNOWN EXAMPLE

Wow! Our jaws dropped when we recieved this consignment. This large sized Carter-Hoffman statue is the first professional team that we've ever seen. It measures almost 8" tall and about 11" long. The team name (Chicago Bears) is emblazoned on both sides. The wood is bright and clean with no chips or cracks. The company name is stamped under one foot. This piece is stunning and so rare that we doubt you'll see another. It begs us to wonder if other NFL teams were ever produced and what they might look like. This is a must for any Carter-Hoffman or NFL collector- or for that matter any collector of rare memorabilia. The workmanship on this piece is beyond belief. It is in excellent plus to near mint condition. This one is a "keeper".
