This yearbook is from a memorable season in Celtics' history on several fronts - Bob Cousy is featured in a scramble on the front cover, and this would mark his final season in a Boston uniform. While one legend was winding up his career, another came on the scene, as John Havlicek joined the Celts after a brilliant college career at Ohio State. The Celtics pulled off yet another championship in '62-'63, defeating the Lakers in a six-game final to capture their sixth World Championship.

The yearbook has photos and bios of all of the Celtics - Bill Russell, Tom Heinsohn, K.C. and Sam Jones and year-by-year player stats. It also has all of the box scores from the Celtics games in 1961-62, as well as an all-time list of scores against the other NBA teams (a great piece of reference material). The back page has their schedule and facsimile autographs of the entire team. It is in excellent condition. This is a rare yearbook that is a must for any Celtic or NBA historian.
