Official 1969 Seattle Pilots Team Yearbook. As sold at Sick's Stadium. This is the only yearbook ever issued by the Pilots as they were a 1969 start-up. They went bankrupt and then moved to Milwaukee for 1970, becoming the Brewers. They were then purchased by the Bud Selig group. Lots of color pictures inside. Among the players included here are Tommy Harper, Jim Bouton, Gary Bell, Steve Barber, Mike Marshall, Don Mincher, Rich Rollins, Tommy Davis, and others. Pitcher Jim Bouton wrote his famous book “Ball Four” about this team. Interesting background about the team's beginnings, staff, schedules, and spring training photos. Players' records, profiles, and photos. Details about the farm system and writers. Under manager Joe Schultz, Pilots finished at 64-98, last in A.L. West, and drew only 677,944 making this a scarce yearbook. The ultimate historic yearbook documenting this long-defunct team. The yearbook is in excellent condition.
