Among the most sought-after dolls made during the last 30 years by the famous Effanbee Doll Corporation which began operations in 1912, is their doll of Muhammad Ali which was made in 1986 as part of their “Great Moments in Sports” series. This offered example of the Effanbee Ali doll is in mint condition and has never been removed from its box. The 18-inch doll is clothed in white and red boxing trunks with a fight robe. It comes in its original box with the lid insert still intact as well as the two hangtags; one which indicates manufactured in the U.S.A. and another folded tag which opens to introduce the doll of Muhammad Ali “I am the Greatest”.
