ITPC's WINTER 2016 SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION ENDS 2/19 - 300 LOTS
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/20/2016
Wow! Here's an incredible and what may be a one of a kind wood carved statue from the Carter-Hoffman mascot series of the 50's. It's of the Washington Redskins. Carter-Hoffman was primarily known for their incredible college and high school mascot series. Up to this point, we knew of only two professional teams that were made by "C-H" - a Chicago Bears and a Cleveland Indians (we auctioned them off in 2010 and 2011 respectively). This is only the third professional team that has surfaced and it is magnificent. The mascot stands about 5" tall and has a very unique headdress. The team name is emblazoned across the chest. There is a small nick towards the back of one of the feet and it appears that the foot has a small repair, but this does not impact it's appearance when displayed. There's also a light scuff on the nose.
Please do not miss this opportunity to own this super rare piece of figural sports memorabilia. We doubt you'll see another.
