60's HOUSTON COLT 45's BLACK FACE BOBBING HEAD - SUPER RARE!

This bobbing head is one of the super rarities in the hobby. It's of the now defunct Houston Colt 45's(now the Astros) and this is the hard to find "black face" variation. The black face series had a very limited production and most speculate that they were only issued in 1963. The Colt 45's were the southern most team and based on the racial climate of the country in the early 60's- very few of these dolls were actual produced. It is truly one of the rarest bobbing heads in the hobby. This example has nice bright coloring and strong decals. It has embossed lettering across the chest. The only real flaw is a small paint fleck on the brim of the hat. It is otherwise in near perfect condition. Don't miss this opportunity to own this classic doll.
