WOW! This incredibly rare doll was used as a "Point of Sale" marketing tool to sell the earliest of the NFL series - the Wood & Square base of the early '60s. It measures a whopping 13.5" tall and is of the S.F. 49'ers. There is only a handful of these known to exist. This example has super bright coloring and very strong decals. There are no chips or cracks which leads us to suspect that there may have been some minor restoration to the rim of the head - but there are no obvious signs of it. It is simply brilliant.
These promotional dolls have shown a steady increase in value over the years. Since they are so limited in quantity, we feel this trend will continue. This is not only a great collectible- but a solid investment.
