ITPC HOLIDAY SPORTS MEMORABILIA AUCTION - ENDS 12/6/13-300 LOTS!
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/7/2013
WOW! This is one of the finest pieces of figural sports memorabilia we've ever handled (and we've seen a lot). It's a large sized statue of the Cleveland Indians iconic mascot - Chief Wahoo produced by the Gibbs-Conner Company of Cleveland Ohio. It measures about 27" tall and was probably created to be a point of sale promotional statue for their smaller sized line of banks and statues. It is beautifully detailed with articulated fingers and embossed lettering of the team name on the chest & back of the head. It is porcelain and is bright and clean. This statue is about as nice as can be and would easily grade near mint.
Don't miss this opportunity to own this truly classic piece - there are only a handful of these large promos known to exist.
