This bank is breath-taking and one of the nicest issued by Gibbs-Conner. It is of the A's mascot elephant made famous by Connie Mack. It was made shortly after the team's move from Philadelphia to Kansas City in 1955. The bank stands about 6.5" tall. sourounding the base are the embossed notation of the team's existence in Philadelphia. It reads "1901- Philadelphia-1954". There is some light crazing on the base, but otherwise it is in near mint condition. This is the only one of these banks that we've ever seen.
