From the 30's, Major League Baseball tried to promote the game in Japan by holding exibition games after the season between Major League teams and their japanese counter-parts. This 50's program is from a tour done by the N.Y. Yankees. The cover shows a young Mickey Mantle. There are pictures within of the Yankee players with bio's and stats in Japanese. The English lettering and numbers indicate stats through the 1954 season, but we believe this tour took place after the 1955 World Series. There are four small holes alond the bound right hand side that carry through the program. It is very colorful and displays nicely.
