ITPC's 3rd ALL VINTAGE PENNANT AUCTION ENDS 2/17
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2017
This pennant is from one of the most historic World Series in baseball history. It's from 1955 and this series would eventually crown the Brooklyn Dodgers as World Champions. It would be the only time that the Dodgers would win this title in Brooklyn.
The pennant is very special. It measures approx. 28 1/2" long and is unusual in that it is double "tipped". The pennant shows both Yankee Stadium and Ebbets Field. The color on the front has faded to a beige, but the back has retained most of its dark blue color. The felt is worn and very thin in areas. It's in good condition and displays beautifully. Please do not miss this opportunity to own this rare and classic pennant.
